We all are a little confused these days. Just getting started with the summer heat!
OMG, we’ve still got a long ways to go until the Fall and we need all the help we can get to combat this relentless heat!
But once you learn how to get yourself into a state of Hypnosis, you’ll be surprised how you can change your mood.
As a Clinical Hypnotherapist, I help my clients heal by changing their thoughts – especially thoughts that might be negative. For example, Let’s say that you’re upset about a recent breakup with a person who used to be the love of your life but now is in the dog house.
Here’s what you could do:
Imagine you’re powerful enough to leap over mountains, feel as though you could embrace these trees or maybe even fly like a humming bird.
My point is that YOU have the power to always turn a negative feeling into something positive. Yes, you really do. But you have to want to get your power back. That’s the key.
Here’s a freebie to get you started:
Once you’re alone in a quiet place, settle into a comfortable chair, make sure your legs are uncrossed and eyes open. Look at a spot above eye level and tell yourself how heavy your eyes are getting as you continue to stare at that spot. Keep repeating these words to yourself (or out loud) until your eyelids actually get tired and that you feel as though you can’t keep them open any more. Then close them. Once they’re closed, imagine that you’re standing on top of a flight of escalator stairs holding on to the railings and ready to float down those stairs. Imagine that a beautiful white Light is now guiding you down the stairs and let yourself experience that this is actually happening. Now that you’re down the stairs, see yourself turning to the right and walking towards an oval doorway. As you picture yourself standing in that doorway you then want to imagine that you’re looking at a beautiful beach and can see a wave rising up with the foam leading the way…then crashing on the beach…then flowing back into the body of the ocean.
Since the movement of ocean waves is hypnotic, practice getting into the mood I’ve only begun to create for you and see if you are able to experience it – even if it’s just a little bit.
