Do you find yourself really stressed lately?
Most of my clients seem to be, and I find myself stressed as well. I just have tools to use that help because I’m a Clinical Hypnotherapist & Coach. I want to help you as well with the tools that I use.
I find that many of my clients are stressed because of the challenge of being sequestered in their homes. Maybe that rings a bell for you. Perhaps you have been temporarily laid off from your job or don’t know if you will even get that job back? Or the stress you might be feeling might be keeping you from all the good in your relationships.
What I believe is most important is to take at least 20 minutes in the morning before you get out of bed for positive self-talk. Make sure you encourage yourself to have a beautiful day – no matter what the weather or what your thoughts might be.
If those thoughts or feelings are fearful or negative in any way, override them with love – love for YOU! Tell yourself that whatever might be coming your way on a particular day that you can make it better if you think more about calling a friend and focusing on that person instead of on your own issues. You’ll be surprised how much better you will feel if that good friend is grateful that you thought of him or her instead of yourself.
Now here’s another tip for you: It’s called Self-Hypnosis, and I can teach you how to do it! Try this before you get out of bed in the morning or before you go to sleep as well:
Focus your eyes on something above eye level and keep staring at that spot. Breath in and out slowly as you keep staring at that particular spot and feel yourself slowly but surely connecting as if it’s part of you and your part of it. Let your slow & gentle breathing continue as you stay with that spot and feel one with that spot. Little by little you will find yourself hypnotized (I promise that this will happen as you continue this process). When you feel that your eyes are tiring and your eyelids are fluttering and that you would be so much better if you could just close your eyes. Then close them.
After you close your eyes, that would be the time to speak to your Subconscious Mind and tell it that no matter what is coming at you, you can handle it – that you will never let those negative thoughts or feelings control you as you have in the past.
YOU can always shift away and gravitate to the great feelings and thoughts that make you feel good.
You truly do have that power!
